Buying Cooking Appliances from Dixons: Delivery Times/Postage and Packaging Costs

Dixons delivers to any address in the mainland UK. Your cooking appliance must be signed for, and you will need to keep the receipt..

There are two delivery charges:

Dixons Standard Delivery Service

Standard delivery charges are shown alongside each individual cooking appliance. Standard delivery takes up to five working days, and your cooking appliance will be delivered using a courier service.

Dixons Premium Delivery Service

You can also opt for a premium delivery service at extra cost. If you choose this option, you will be able to specify a delivery date and time which is best suited to you. Courier deliveries are normally made between 9am and 5pm.

In either case, Dixons will send you a tracking number by e-mail, and you will be able to track the progress of your order on the courier service’s website.

In some cases, the cooking appliance may be delivered direct from the supplier. These appliances will be marked on the website with a green van logo, and delivery may take up to 28 days.

Buying Cooking Appliances from Dixons: Returns and Refunds

You can cancel your order with Dixons at any time up to 14 days after delivery. If you return your cooking appliance it must be as new. You will be entitled to a full refund, but in order to claim your refund, you must have the receipt. To return your appliance, simply take it to a Dixons store, or contact Dixons by e-mail, phone or post to arrange for it to be collected.

If your cooking appliance develops a fault within 12 months of purchase, Dixons will offer an exchange, refund or repair. In order for you to be entitled to a refund or exchange, the cooking appliance must otherwise be as new, and any accessories or free gifts that were included with your purchase must also be returned o. The cooking appliance must be returned to a Dixons store, or you can phone their Aftersales number for further advice.

Dixons also offer the Coverplan Service. This is an insurance policy which can cover your cooking appliance if it doesn’t qualify for their instant replacement service.
