Buying Cooking Appliances from Currys: Delivery Times/Postage and Packaging Costs

Currys delivers to any address in the United Kingdom (excluding the Channel Islands and, for some larger items, the Isle of Man, Anglesey, the Scilly Isles and the Scottish islands).

Delivery charges vary depending on the product. The applicable standard delivery charge is shown on each product page.

With cooking appliances that are small enough for a courier to deliver, you have a choice of either Standard or Premium delivery.

Standard Delivery

Standard delivery takes up to 5 working days and can either be by post or courier. Charges vary according to the item.

Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (excluding Bank Holidays). Delivery times for any orders placed after 3pm should be calculated as though the order had been placed the following day.

If you order multiple items, you will only have to pay one delivery charge. If the items have different delivery charges, you will be charged the higher of the two (not both).

Premium Delivery

If your product can be delivered by courier, you will be given the opportunity to pay for premium delivery during the ordering process.

Again, charges and delivery times vary according to the product. Exact details of these will be made clear during the online ordering process.

If the product has a green van logo on its web page, this means that delivery will be direct from the manufacturer and premium delivery is not available. You will be given full delivery details during the order process.

Buying Cooking Appliances from Currys: Refunds and Exchanges

Cancellation

You can cancel your purchase at any time either before or up to 14 days after delivery by:

  • Returning the product to a Currys store
  • Following the “Returns” instructions in the delivery documentation
  • E-mailing, phoning or writing to Currys.

Currys cannot cancel the purchase if the product is returned with no proof of purchase.

Return of Faulty Goods

If the appliance develops a problem within 12 months of delivery, Currys will repair it promptly. There is the choice of an exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 28 days of delivery.

To qualify for a refund or exchange the product must be:

  • In otherwise “as new” condition
  • Complete with any free gifts and/or accessories that were included when you bought it (and preferably in the original box and packaging).

Faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear are not covered.
