Buying Cooking Appliances from Argos: Delivery Times/Postage and Packaging Costs

Your cooking appliances will be sent using standard delivery and Argos charge £4.95 for this service. If you want next day delivery, or Saturday delivery, the charge will be £7.90. If you opt for next day delivery, you must order before 1pm.

After you have been through the checkout on the Argos website, you will be asked to choose a suitable delivery date. Delivery times are from 8am and 6pm on Monday to Friday and from 8am to 2pm on Saturday.

Cooking appliances are usually dispatched from the Argos distribution centres rather than the manufacturers, and delivery times depend on location and in-store availability.

Argos will only deliver to addresses on the UK mainland and in Northern Ireland.

Buying Cooking Appliances from Argos: Returns and Refunds

If your cooking appliance isn’t faulty, you will need to return it within 16 days of purchase. It must also be in the original packaging and unused. You will be offered either an exchange or a full refund.

Some products are exempt from the money back guarantee. These products are clearly marked on the website by a †.

Argos will collect the item free of charge.

If your cooking appliance develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, Argos offer will offer a repair, refund or replacement. If the fault develops later than 30 days but within a year of purchase, Argos will offer you a repair or, if this isn’t possible, a replacement.
