Easy to clean and use, they are sure to become a much-used item.

Varieties of Waffles

The variety of waffles you can enjoy is only limited by your imagination. Ice cream, syrups and fruits are some of the most popular toppings to be heaped and drizzled on top, or you can just have them plain and dip them into whatever you fancy. Loved by all ages, finger waffles make great treats at children’s parties.

Of course not all waffles are sweet; there are many savoury waffle recipes and extra ingredients can be added into the mixture as well as laid on top of the waffles.

Some waffle makers allow you to cook extra thin waffles that can be rolled into cones and then filled with anything from a healthy salad to a more sinful dessert choice. Choose the waffle maker that gives you a shape you like, such as fingers or circular waffles which can be broken into triangular sections or heart shaped quarters.

As well as a standard waffle maker which makes waffles only, you can also find multi-purpose cookers which include a flat griddle, but which can also cook other things apart from waffles. Also available are toaster/waffle makers that you can use to toast store-bought waffles by slipping them into the slots.

As you can see, waffle makers can be very versatile and can provide you with little culinary delights each time you use them, and this versatility is making them more and more popular.
