Popcorn Makers
What could be a nicer treat than a bowl of freshly made popcorn! Whether you like it smothered in melted butter or flavoured to your own personal taste, popcorn makes the perfect snack. Its great to put popcorn out at childrens birthday parties, or to sit back and relax with a bowl full and your favorite movie.
What are Popcorn Makers?
Some popcorn makers use oil, whereas others work with hot air to pop the kernels for a healthier, non-greasy result. Many popcorn makers allow flavourings to be added to the popcorn while it is in the machine, whereas with others you have to add them after the popcorn has been made. Several models feature cups on the top in which butter can be melted, so its ready to pour over the popcorn. Some models also have chutes, which send the cooked popcorn into a waiting bowl.
Popcorn makers are a brilliant idea for anyone who enjoys popcorn as a snack and doesnt want to waste time cooking it the old-fashioned way. Just buy a packet of kernels, measure them out into the popping compartment of the popcorn maker, and add oil if the model does not use hot air to pop the corn. Include any flavouring you like (if the popcorn maker supports this option) and turn it on. If there is a chute, make sure you have a bowl under it ready to catch the popcorn as it comes out.
In minutes, you will have as much popcorn as you like, popping merrily and ready to eat. Pick out any unpopped kernels and you are ready to delight in fresh, warm, home-made popcorn.
