Morphy Richards was founded in the summer of 1936, when ex-engineer Donal Morphy went into partnership with ex-salesman Charles Richards. The two men had previously worked for the same company, and decided to set their own business vision into motion.

Morphy and Richards launched its brand of electrical and gas products with a focus on reliability and quality at affordable prices. Its early range included television and radio goods, and since then the Morphy Richards range has grown to include a wide variety of home appliances.

Today the Morphy Richards brand name is extremely popular and can be found all over the high street as well as online.
