DeLonghi Cooking Appliances – Introduction

DeLonghi was founded in the early 1900s as a craftsman’s workshop, and became a company in the 1950s, specialising in heating system components. In 1985 the company produced its first household personal appliances, and by the 1990s DeLonghi was established as a global brand with a reputation for quality and innovation.

DeLonghi continued to expand and diversify via the acquisition of companies in various household appliance sectors. In 2001 DeLonghi bought Kenwood, the famous cooking appliance producer, further strengthening its position in the international and domestic electrical markets.

Today, DeLonghi manufactures a wide range of domestic electrical appliances and is a popular brand of choice for kitchen and cooking appliances.
