Bush Cooking Appliances

Bush Cooking Appliances – Introduction

Bush was founded as Bush Radio in 1932 in Britain, as a subsidiary of the Gaumont British Picture Corporation, and was named after that company’s Shepherd’s Bush Studios. Bush launched the iconic Bush TR82 transistor radio in 1959, and became one of Britain’s foremost radio manufacturers.

Bush was purchased in 1988 by Alba, and since then the Bush brand has focused on the production of a range of home electrical products. In recent years, Bush has become popular as a brand of choice for affordable and reliable kitchen appliances.
